On Monday March 19, 2018, the attorneys and staff at Leeseberg & Valentine participated in the Ohio Association for Justice's 2018 Day of Service. This was the second consecutive year L&V has taken part in this great event that ensures thousands of families throughout central and eastern Ohio do not go hungry.
Leeseberg & Valentine was once again named one of the "Best Law Firms" in the country by U.S. News and World Report. This award is based upon client feedback and the firm's reputation among other lawyers in the legal community.
Partner Anne Valentine and the rest of the Harmony Project took part in their annual winter concert last Thursday at Nationwide Arena. The Harmony Project, a community service organization working to unite our neighbors and neighborhoods to tear down the social, cultural, and geographic divides, was founded in 2009 by Director David Brown. "The Concert for US" was a celebration of eight years of tremendous growth from just 100 members and performing at the Lincoln Theater to having multiple choirs consisting of 1,000 voices and performing at Nationwide Arena. More information about the Harmony Project can be found here.
Members of the Leeseberg & Valentine team, along with others from the Ohio Association for Justice, took some time out of their days to give back to the greater Columbus area yesterday. In all, roughly 40 volunteers sorted over 19,000 pounds of frozen food at the Mid-Ohio Food Bank for those in need. According to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank staff, the food pantry opens at 7 a.m. and by 7:30 a.m., all of this food will be picked up to go to food pantries across Ohio and all the way over to the Pennsylvania border. This experience was a reminder that thousands of people go hungry in our community every day. Please consider donating your time, money, or food to food banks throughout the state to ensure that hungry peopl have access to food in their greatest times of need.
