Earlier this week, 10TV reporter Bennett Haeberle and the 10 Investigates Team published "Deadly Dosage: The Doctor Husel Chronicles," which provides a fantastic overview of what we know about the Mount Carmel cases thus far. The videos feature LV attorneys Gerry Leeseberg and Craig Tuttle, as well as several of our clients.
As the primary elections approach, we wanted to take a moment to remind our clients and followers of this blog to register to vote. The deadline to register for the upcoming midterm elections is October 9, 2018. If you are unsure whether you are registered to vote, you can visit the Secretary of State's website and click "check my voter registration".
On Monday March 19, 2018, the attorneys and staff at Leeseberg & Valentine participated in the Ohio Association for Justice's 2018 Day of Service. This was the second consecutive year L&V has taken part in this great event that ensures thousands of families throughout central and eastern Ohio do not go hungry.
Leeseberg & Valentine was once again named one of the "Best Law Firms" in the country by U.S. News and World Report. This award is based upon client feedback and the firm's reputation among other lawyers in the legal community.
Last month, attorney Craig Tuttle of Leeseberg & Valentine settled two cases on behalf of his clients against The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The first case settled for $75,000 and the second case settled for $125,000. Both cases, while formally filed with the Court of Claims, were able to be resolved before commencing litigation. Craig commends OSU for its willingness to acknowledge something went wrong and proactive attitude in working to reach an agreement.
